Tumbling
Our tumbling classes are all about learning skills on floor exercise, like cartwheels, back handsprings, and full twisting back flips! But don’t worry, our students won’t start with full twisting back flips, because at Waves, progression is the name of the game!
Our coaches follow progressive lesson plans that use “drills” to teach skills using proper technique. Drills are movements that students perform on their own. They’re like the building blocks for more complex tumbling skills.
Our students’ safety is our #1 priority - that’s why we put heavy emphasis on proper technique, and allow our students to learn and excel at their own pace!
Tumbling classes are divided by age and skill level to ensure safety and optimal skill advancement. Read more about our classes below.
